Scraping Website Data into Home Assistant

Does anyone know if Grabzit's Web Scraper could be used/useful to download data from a website into Home Assistant (this is a open-source software for home automation)? Home Assistant has it's own Scraper add-on; however the documentation and instructions on how to use it are very poor (e.g. Configuring the sensors that will scrape the data).
